Dear Young Missionaries This is Mark Park. This is my suggestions for 2nd Bible study on Saturday Morning Group. There are many different things we need to know to grow up spiritually. But I choose 5 'areas' that we can study together to know God more deeply. And I purposely divide each area into 5 'topics'. (see the following)
So if we have 5 regular members, each member can choose one topic in each area which he has desire for. We can also assign each topic to 5 regular members who we think he might be better in that topic. And if we have more than 5 regular members, some people can choose the same topics. If we have less than 5 regular members, then some people might have to choose more than others.
For example, let’s assume one regular member choose the following topics. 1. Minor Prophets in OTs, 2. Paul’s Letters II, 3. Doctrines for Salvation, 4. History of Reformation, 5. Family Issues.
For the next 10 years as long as this second Bible study goes, He can focus on this 5 topics continuously so that he can teach himself and others during the second bible studies. Of course, he can study other areas if he wants. But at least he must study the assigned area first for the purpose of helping himself as well as others. This can be flexible and changable. This is only suggestion.
I do not know how long we can have second Bible study, but if we can continue at least couple years, I think some of us might become semi-experts on that specific area and we can continuously develop our expertise as time pass by. many co-workers in our church will get benifit from them.
